A cum, iată că Domnul m-a ţinut în viaţă aşa cum a spus. Sunt patruzeci şi cinci de ani, de când Cuvântul Domnului a vorbit astfel lui Moise, pe vremea când Israel străbătea pustia şi iată-mă astăzi, în vârstă de optzeci şi cinci de ani!

And now, behold, Jehovah hath kept me alive, as he spake, these forty and five years, from the time that Jehovah spake this word unto Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.
