Î n timp ce fugeau dinaintea lui Israel, pe drumul care cobora de la Bet-Horon spre Azeka, Domnul a făcut să cadă din cer asupra lor pietre mari de grindină şi ei au murit. Cei care au fost nimiciţi de pietrele grindinei au fost în număr mai mare decât cei ucişi cu sabia de către israeliţi.

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth-horon, that Jehovah cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more who died with the hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
