L -am trimis împotriva unui neam lipsit de evlavie şi i-am poruncit să meargă împotriva poporului pe care sunt mâniat, ca să ia pradă, să-şi însuşească captură şi să-l calce în picioare ca pe noroiul de pe drum.

I will send him against a profane nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
