D acă un stăpân va lovi ochiul vreunui sclav sau al vreunei sclave şi-l face pe acesta sau pe aceasta să-şi piardă ochiul, sclavul, respectiv sclava, să fie lăsaţi să plece liberi ca despăgubire pentru ochi.

And if a man strike the eye of his bondman or the eye of his handmaid, and it be marred, he shall let him go for his eye.
