Exodul 16:3 ~ Exodus 16:3

I sraeliţii le-au zis: „O, de-am fi fost omorâţi de mâna Domnului în ţara Egiptului! Cel puţin acolo stăteam lângă oalele de carne şi mâncam pâine din belşug. Ne-aţi adus aici, în pustia aceasta, ca să faceţi să moară de foame toată mulţimea aceasta!“

and the children of Israel said to them, “We wish that we had died by Yahweh’s hand in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots, when we ate our fill of bread, for you have brought us out into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”
