C ovoare de bumbac, colorate în alb şi violet, erau prinse cu funii din in subţire şi din purpură de nişte verigi de argint, pe stâlpi de marmură. Paturi de aur şi de argint stăteau pe un paviment de porfir, de marmură, de sidef şi de piatră neagră.

There were hangings of white, green, and blue material, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and marble pillars. The couches were of gold and silver, on a pavement of red, white, yellow, and black marble.
