A tunci Zaharia, fiul preotului Iehoiada, a fost îmbrăcat cu Duhul lui Dumnezeu. El a stat înaintea poporului şi le-a vorbit astfel: „Aşa vorbeşte Dumnezeu: «De ce aţi încălcat poruncile Domnului ? Nu veţi propăşi! Fiindcă L-aţi părăsit pe Domnul, şi El vă va părăsi!»“

The Spirit of God came on Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood above the people, and said to them, “Thus says God, ‘Why do you disobey Yahweh’s commandments, so that you can’t prosper? Because you have forsaken Yahweh, he has also forsaken you.’”
