D ar Ioab i-a zis: – Domnul să înmulţească poporul Său de o sută de ori mai mult! O, rege, stăpânul meu, oare nu suntem toţi slujitorii stăpânului meu? De ce stăpânul meu cere lucrul acesta? De ce să aduci vină asupra lui Israel?

Joab said, “May Yahweh make his people a hundred times as many as they are. But, my lord the king, aren’t they all my lord’s servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?”
