B enaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, era un viteaz din Kabţeel, care a făcut mari isprăvi. El i-a ucis pe doi dintre cei mai viteji moabiţi, iar într-o zi în care ninsese, a coborât într-o fântână unde a omorât un leu.

Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done mighty deeds, he slew the two sons of Ariel of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow.
