D upă aceea, Iehoiada a luat cu el pe căpeteniile peste sute, pe cariţi, gărzile şi tot poporul ţării. Aceştia l-au coborât împreună pe rege de la Casa Domnului şi au venit la palatul regelui pe drumul care duce prin poarta gărzilor. Regele s-a aşezat pe tronul regal.

He took the captains of hundreds and the Carites and the guards and all the people of the land; and they brought the king down from the house of the Lord, and came by the way of the gate of the guards to the king’s house. And he sat on the throne of the kings.
