A hazia a murit potrivit Cuvântului Domnului pe care l-a rostit Ilie. Pentru că nu avea nici un fiu, în locul lui a devenit rege Ioram. Era al doilea an al domniei lui Iehoram, fiul lui Iehoşafat, regele lui Iuda.

So Ahaziah died according to the word of the Lord which Elijah had spoken. Joram reigned in Israel in his stead in the second year of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, because Ahaziah had no son.
