R egelui Solomon i s-a spus că Ioab a fugit la Cortul Domnului şi că era la altar. Atunci Solomon l-a trimis pe Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, poruncindu-i: „Du-te şi omoară-l!“

King Solomon was told, “Joab has fled to Yahweh’s Tent, and behold, he is by the altar.” Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, “Go, fall on him.”
