A tunci Ilie s-a apropiat de tot poporul şi a zis: – Până când veţi mai şovăi între două convingeri? Dacă Domnul este Dumnezeu, urmaţi-L pe El, iar dacă Baal este Dumnezeu, urmaţi-l pe acesta! Poporul nu i-a răspuns nimic.

and Elijah cometh nigh unto all the people, and saith, `Till when are ye leaping on the two branches? -- if Jehovah God, go after Him; and if Baal, go after him;' and the people have not answered him a word.
