E l a trăit în toate păcatele pe care tatăl său le săvârşise înaintea lui şi inima lui nu I-a fost devotată în întregime Domnului, Dumnezeul său, cum fusese inima strămoşului său David.

He walked in all the sins of his father before him; and his heart was not blameless with the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father.
