D umnezeu i-a spus: – Ia-l pe fiul tău Isaac, pe singurul tău fiu, fiul pe care-l iubeşti, du-te în ţinutul Moria şi jertfeşte-l acolo ca ardere de tot pe unul dintre munţii despre care îţi voi spune.

He said, “Now take your son, your only son, whom you love, even Isaac, and go into the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.”
