A tunci Sarai i-a spus lui Avram: – Fie ca răul care mi se face să cadă peste tine! Ţi-am dat-o în braţe pe sclava mea, iar când a descoperit că a rămas însărcinată, m-a privit cu dispreţ. Domnul să judece între mine şi tine!

Then Sarai said to Abram, May my wrong and deprivation of rights be upon you! I gave my maid into your bosom, and when she saw that she was with child, I was contemptible and despised in her eyes. May the Lord be the judge between you and me.
