T erah i-a luat pe fiul său Avram şi pe nepotul său Lot, fiul lui Haran, precum şi pe Sarai, nora sa şi soţia fiului său Avram, şi au ieşit împreună din Ur, din Caldeea, ca să meargă în Canaan; dar când au ajuns în Haran, s-au aşezat acolo.

Terah took Abram his son, Lot the son of Haran, his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife. They went from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan. They came to Haran and lived there.
