« Poi partimmo da Oreb e attraversammo tutto quel grande e spaventevole deserto che avete visto, dirigendoci verso la regione montuosa degli Amorei, come il Signore, il nostro Dio, ci aveva ordinato di fare, e giungemmo a Cades-Barnea.

And we departed from Horeb and went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw, on the way to the mountain of the Amorites, as Jehovah our God had commanded us; and we came to Kadesh-barnea.
