Genesi 16:2 ~ Genesis 16:2

S arai disse ad Abramo: «Ecco, il Signore mi ha fatta sterile; ti prego, va’ dalla mia serva; forse avrò figli da lei». E Abramo diede ascolto alla voce di Sarai.

And Sarai said to Abram, See here, the Lord has restrained me from bearing. I am asking you to have intercourse with my maid; it may be that I can obtain children by her. And Abram listened to and heeded what Sarai said.
