L et us lie down in our shame, and let our humiliation cover us; for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day. And we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.”

Să ne culcăm în ruşinea noastră şi să ne acoperim cu umilirea noastră, căci am păcătuit împotriva Domnului, Dumnezeul nostru, atât noi, cât şi strămoşii noştri; din tinereţea noastră până în ziua de azi nu am ascultat de glasul Domnului, Dumnezeul nostru.“
