T hen Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the princes of Judah who had gathered at Jerusalem because of Shishak, and he said to them, “Thus says the Lord, ‘ You have forsaken Me, so I also have forsaken you to Shishak.’”

Entonces el profeta Semaías vino a Roboam y a los príncipes de Judá que se habían reunido en Jerusalén por causa de Sisac, y les dijo: Así dice el Señor: “Vosotros me habéis abandonado, por eso también yo os abandono en manos de Sisac.”
