N o te mea ka manaakitia koe e Ihowa, e tou Atua, ka peratia me tana i ki ai ki a koe: a mau e whakatarewa moni ki nga iwi maha, ko koe ia kaua e tango i te moni tarewa; a ko koe hei ariki mo nga iwi maha, kahore hoki ratou e ariki ki a koe.

For Yahweh your God will bless you, as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. You will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
