A e ra, kia mau ki nga whakahau katoa e whakahau atu nei ahau ki a koe i tenei ra, kia kaha ai koe, kia tae atu ai hoki, kia whiwhi ai ki te whenua e haere atu nei koutou ki reira ki te tango;

Therefore you shall keep all the commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land, where you go over to possess it;
