K o te tangata kei a ia nei aku ture, e puritia ana hoki e ia, ko ia te aroha ana ki ahau: ki te aroha tetahi ki ahau, ka arohaina ia e toku Matua, a ka aroha ahau ki a ia, ka whakaatu i ahau ki a ia.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.
