K atahi tera ka ki mai ki ahau, Kaua e wehi, e Raniera, no te mea no te ra tuatahi ano i anga ai tou ngakau ki te matau, ki te whakaiti i a koe ki te aroaro o tou Atua, i rangona ai au kupu; a na au kupu hoki ahau i haere mai ai.

Then he said to me, Don’t be afraid, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard: and I have come for your words’ sake.
