E tangi, aue, e te tama a te tangata: no te mea kei runga i taku iwi, kei runga i nga rangatira katoa o Iharaira: kua tukua atu ratou ki te hoari me taku iwi: mo reira papaki ki tou huha.

Cry and wail, son of man; for it is upon my people, it is upon all the princes of Israel: they are delivered over to the sword with my people; smite therefore upon thy thigh.
