N a ka matua rite i ahau nga utu mo to ratou he, mo to ratou hara, kia rua; mo ratou i whakapoke i toku whenua ki nga tinana o a ratou mea anaunu, i whakaki hoki i toku wahi tupu ki a ratou mea whakarihariha.

And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.
