K o ta Ihowa kupu hoki tenei ki ahau, Ka rite ki te raiona, ki te kuao raiona e hamama ana ki tana tupapaku, i te mea ka karangarangatia nga hepara tokomaha ki a ia, kahore ona wehi ki to ratou reo, e kore ano ia e whakaririka ki to ratou ngangau; ka pera ano te haerenga iho o Ihowa o nga mano ki te whawhai ki runga ki Maunga Hiona me to reira pukepuke.

For thus saith Jehovah unto me, As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds be called forth against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so will Jehovah of hosts come down to fight upon mount Zion, and upon the hill thereof.
