A ue te mate mo te hunga e haere ana ki raro, ki Ihipa ki te tiki whakauru, e okioki ana ki te hoiho; e whakawhirinaki ana ki te hariata, no te mea he maha, ki te kaieke hoiho ano, no te mea he nui te kaha; kahore ia e titiro ki te Mea Tapu o Ihar aira, kahore hoki e rapu tikanga ki a Ihowa!

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek Yahweh!
