H ei pa kaha hoki koe mo te ware, hei pa kaha mo te rawakore i tona henga, hei whakaruru kei mate i te tupuhi, hei whakahauhau mo te werawera, ina rite te hau o te hunga nanakia ki te tupuhi e aki mai ana ki te taiepa.

For thou hast been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
