A ka mea ia, Kei a koe tonu ra ahau: ko te tohu ano tenei mou ka unga nei e ahau: ka whakaputaina mai e koe te iwi i Ihipa, ka mahi koutou ki te Atua ki runga i tenei maunga.

Er sprach: Ich will mit dir sein. Und das soll dir ein Zeichen sein, daß ich dich gesandt habe: Wenn du mein Volk aus Ägypten geführt hast, werdet ihr Gott opfern auf diesem Berge.
