N a, whakarerea toku hara, heoi rawa ano ko to tenei taima, a inoi ki a Ihowa, ki to koutou Atua, kia tangohia atu e ia ko tenei mate anake i ahau.

Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the Lord your God, that he may take away from me this death only.
