K o Ihowa toku kamaka, toku pa, toku kaiwhakaora; toku Atua, toku tino kamaka, e whakawhirinaki ai ahau; toku whakangungu rakau, te haona o toku whakaoranga, toku pourewa tiketike.

Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
