N a ka mea te kingi ki ahau, He aha tou kanohi i pouri ai; kahore nei hoki ou mate? ehara tenei i te mea ke atu i te pouri o te ngakau. Na nui atu toku wehi.

And the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid.
