H eoi homai ki tau pononga he ngakau e mahara ana ki te whakahaere tikanga ki tau iwi, ki te wehe i te pai, i te kino: ko wai hoki e ahei te whakahaere tikanga mo tenei iwi nui au?

and Thou hast given to Thy servant an understanding heart, to judge Thy people, to discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this Thy great people?'
