N onanahi noa nei koe i tae mai ai, a kia mea ahau i a koe i tenei ra kia kopikopiko noa iho i a matou, i taku haere noa atu? Hoki atu, whakahokia ano ou teina; kia whai tahi te pono me te aroha i a koe.

Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us, seeing I go whither I may? return thou, and take back thy brethren; mercy and truth be with thee.
