E kore ianei koe e kake, ki te mahi koe i te pai? ki te kahore koe e mahi i te pai, kei te kuwaha te hara e takoto ana. Na ko koe tana e hiahia ai, ko koe ia hei rangatira mona.

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
