W hakarongo ki a matou, e toku ariki: he rangatira nui koe i roto i a matou: whiriwhiria e koe tetahi o o matou urupa, ka tanu ai i tou tupapaku; e kore e kaiponuhia e tetahi o matou tana urupa i a koe, hei tanumanga mo tou tupapaku.

Hear us, my lord. Thou art a prince of God among us. In the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead. None of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.
