A lle deine Liebhaber vergessen dein, und fragen nichts darnach. Ich habe dich geschlagen, wie ich einen Feind schlüge, mit unbarmherziger Staupe um deiner großen Missetat und deiner starken Sünden willen.

All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not. For I have smitten thee with the stroke of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of thine iniquity: thy sins are manifold.
