U nd ich redete solches alles zu Zedekia, dem König Juda's, und sprach: Ergebt euren Hals unter das Joch des Königs zu Babel und dient ihm und seinem Volk, so sollt ihr lebendig bleiben.

I spoke to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
