S ei nicht schnell mit deinem Munde und laß dein Herz nicht eilen, was zu reden vor Gott; denn Gott ist im Himmel, und du auf Erden; darum laß deiner Worte wenig sein.

Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thy heart be hasty to utter anything before God; for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
