D a aber die drei Freunde Hiobs hörten all das Unglück, das über ihn gekommen war, kamen sie, ein jeglicher aus seinem Ort: Eliphas von Theman, Bildad von Suah und Zophar von Naema. Denn sie wurden eins, daß sie kämen, ihn zu beklagen und zu trösten.

Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that had come on him, they each came from his own place: Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite, and they made an appointment together to come to sympathize with him and to comfort him.
