U nd wenn's Zeit war, daß man die Lade herbringen sollte durch die Leviten nach des Königs Befehl (wenn sie sahen, daß viel Geld darin war), so kam der Schreiber des Königs und wer vom vornehmsten Priester Befehl hatte, und schüttete die Lade aus und trugen sie wieder an ihren Ort. So taten sie alle Tage, daß sie Geld die Menge zuhauf brachten.

And it was so, that, at what time the chest was brought unto the king's officers by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king's scribe and the chief priest's officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to its place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.
