D avid aber fragte Gott und sprach: Soll ich hinaufziehen wider die Philister? und willst du sie in meine Hand geben? Der HERR sprach zu ihm: Zieh hinauf! ich hab sie in deine Hände gegeben.

David inquired of God, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” Yahweh said to him, “Go up; for I will deliver them into your hand.”
