U nd er sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Darum daß du hast Boten hingesandt und lassen fragen Baal-Sebub, den Gott zu Ekron, als wäre kein Gott in Israel, dessen Wort man fragen möchte, so sollst du von dem Bette nicht kommen, darauf du dich gelegt hast, sondern sollst des Todes sterben.

And he said unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down from the bed whither thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
