U nd Joab sprach zu dem Mann, der's ihm hatte angesagt: Siehe, sahst du das, warum schlugst du ihn nicht daselbst zur Erde? so wollte ich dir von meinetwegen zehn Silberlinge und einen Gürtel gegeben haben.

And Joab said to the man that told him, And behold, thou sawest, and why didst thou not smite him there to the ground? and I would have given thee ten silver pieces and a girdle.
