I tthai antwortete und sprach: So wahr der HERR lebt, und so wahr mein König lebt, an welchem Ort mein Herr, der König, sein wird, es gerate zum Tod oder zum Leben, da wird dein Knecht auch sein.

Ittai answered the king, and said, “As Yahweh lives, and as my lord the king lives, surely in what place my lord the king is, whether for death or for life, your servant will be there also.”
