a ttraverso le quali ci sono donate le preziose e grandissime promesse, affinché per mezzo di esse diventiate partecipi della natura divina, dopo essere fuggiti dalla corruzione che è nel mondo a motivo della concupiscenza.

whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust.
