T utto il suo popolo sospira in cerca di pane; danno le loro cose piú preziose in cambio di cibo per riprendere vita. «Guarda, o Eterno, e considera come sono diventata spregevole!».

All her people sigh, they seek bread; They have given their pleasant things for food to refresh the soul: See, O Jehovah, and behold; for I am become abject.
