I o sono discesa nel giardino dei noci per vedere le piante verdeggianti della valle, per vedere se le viti erano in fiore e i melograni mettevano le gemme.

I went down into the nut tree grove, to see the green plants of the valley, to see whether the vine budded, and the pomegranates were in flower.
